Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, provides in-home care that supports people to live independently with dignity. We’re seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team across Queensland, including but not limited to the following areas: 

• Coomera
• Currumbin
• Robina
• Southport
• Logan

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate  Community Support Worker  to join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients across  Logan,   QLD , on a  Casual or Part-time basis .

More specifically, some of your duties may include:

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification – essential
• Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
• Hold a NDIS clearance – or willing to obtain
• Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
• Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
• Must have own car & relevant insurances
• Dementia care qualification – desirable
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
