To continue driving excellence, we have opportunities for Fulltime Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly team at Northpharm Tiwi, located within the Royal Darwin Hospital

As a Pharmacy Technician in Northpharm, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy. This position is essential for ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service and care. You will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily dispensary services, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of medications and pharmacy operations.
  • Coordinate with remote clinics to manage stock levels and fulfil medication orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise confidently with clinic managers, staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships across clinics and health departments.
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members and other healthcare staff.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Support operational requirements, including inventory management and system updates.

Requirements:

  • Fluent and proficient communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong ability to liaise with clinics and meet operational requirements.
  • IT savvy, with confidence using pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organised.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment.
  • Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is highly preferred but not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
