Service Support Officer

Intereach is seeking a highly motivated, positive, and personable individuals to become part
of our dynamic Aged Care team and support the growth in our organisation. 

This position will be responsible for a range of administration activities to support the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of Aged Care Services across the Intereach footprint. 

As a Service Support Officer, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for participants entering Intereach Aged Care Services following assessment of eligibility
  • Engage with participants and their supporters to understand their needs and funding
  • Deliver office-based onboarding activities
  • Ensure a smooth transition to ongoing care with the participants Care Partner
  • Respond to enquiries
  • Facilitate brokered service arrangements
  • Provide efficient and timely administrative support

This is a permanent, full-time position that can be based in any of our NSW Aged Care Services offices – Albury, Corowa, Deniliquin and Finley.

The role is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Level 3, with an annual starting salary of $76,372 plus superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits.

About You

If you have experience working in a busy office environment, work well as part of a team and can juggle competing demands, then we would love to hear from you.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of aged care funding models, eligibility and access pathways for older people
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and work to deadlines
  • Exceptional computer literacy, including experience using client management systems and databases
  • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to participant needs in a timely and effective manner
  • Understanding of person-centred practice, consumer directed care and principles of dignity, choice and control
