The Role
We are currently seeking Casual Disability Support Workers with demonstrated experience supporting adults with behaviours of concern. These roles involve providing support to participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access settings across Morayfield and surrounding areas.
This is a rewarding, hands‑on role for experienced support workers who are passionate about making a genuine difference.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain trusting, respectful, and meaningful relationships with participants, their families, and support networks
Assist in the development, implementation, and review of individual support plans
Support participants to engage in community activities, build relationships, and pursue interests
Encourage positive and socially appropriate behaviours and effectively manage challenging behaviours
Provide personal care and daily living support in line with individual plans
Maintain accurate documentation and professional communication
Attend mandatory training and ongoing professional development as required
About You
You are a compassionate and reliable professional who:
Has a strong commitment to person‑centred practice
Demonstrates patience, resilience, and professionalism
Is flexible and willing to work across a variety of shifts and participants
Has proven experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
Essential Requirements
Minimum 12 months’ experience in disability support work
Minimum 12 months’ experience supporting adults with behaviours of concern
Certificate III in Disability (or working towards) or equivalent experience
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with manual handling
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Queensland Provisional or Open Driver’s Licence
Reliable vehicle for community access shifts
Current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current Paid NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
