Production Supervisor

Interpod is a fast-growing manufacturer reshaping modular construction across Australia. With production scaling rapidly, they’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to take control of daily execution and ensure the plan turns into performance safely, efficiently, and right the first time.

This role sits right in the middle of the action. You’ll lead from the floor, not the office. Balancing labour, solving problems in real time, and making sure every part of the line is running to standard.

Because strong production isn’t just planned it’s executed, owned, and improved every shift.

The role:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll take ownership of shift-level execution across key work centres ensuring targets are met, standards are upheld, and problems are solved before they escalate.
Your focus will be on:

• Executing the daily production plan to meet shift and weekly targets
• Allocating labour effectively across stations to maintain flow and balance
• Driving Right First-Time quality and eliminating rework
• Identifying bottlenecks, risks, and delays early
• Leading real-time problem solving and escalating with clear solutions
• Managing attendance, coverage, and labour productivity to budget
• Enforcing process discipline across QSE, ISO, and internal standards
• Maintaining accurate production data, reporting, and audit readiness
• Leading shift huddles and clear daily communication
• Coaching operators, lifting performance, and addressing gaps directly
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and driving small-scale changes on the floor

Who we’re looking for:
You’ve already led within a production or manufacturing environment and understand what strong execution actually looks like.
You don’t wait for problems to grow – you get in early, take control, and fix them properly.
You’ll bring:

• Proven experience supervising or leading production teams
• Strong execution mindset
• Confidence managing labour, performance, and shift coverage
• A sharp eye for quality, detail, and process adherence
• The ability to problem-solve under pressure with urgency and clarity
• Strong communication skills and presence on the floor
• A structured, disciplined approach to safety, compliance, and standards
