Oakden Green is a 40-bed multicultural aged care facility located in the North-Eastern suburb of Oakden, in Adelaide’s north-east. With a commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to older South Australians, we pride ourselves on our warm, family-oriented workplace culture and supportive management.
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team for Tuesday and Wednesday morning shifts (7:00 – 15:15) . The position is initially casual with the opportunity to transition to permanent after 3 months.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of person-centred care during morning shifts
- Lead and support care staff on shift
- Perform clinical assessments and manage clinical deterioration
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
- Respond to emergencies in accordance with facility protocols
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
- Strong clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, care planning, and escalation procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
