The Orthopaedic Group WA is pleased to offer another exciting opportunity for a motivated, personable, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team. As the first point of contact for our patients and specialists, this role is integral to delivering an exceptional patient experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Formerly known as Hollywood Orthopaedic Group, The Orthopaedic Group WA has a long-standing reputation for excellence in orthopaedic care and sports injury management. We are a centrally located, state-of-the-art practice in Nedlands, comprising 13 Orthopaedic Surgeons, allied health professionals, and a dedicated administrative team. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, collaborative, and respectful workplace culture where teamwork and professionalism are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a professional, friendly, and welcoming front-of-house experience for patients
- Managing incoming phone calls and directing patient and inter-surgery enquiries efficiently
- Processing incoming referrals accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintaining precise data entry and patient records
- Assisting with inventory management and general administrative support
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role (medical reception experience desirable but not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build positive working relationships
- High level of reliability and professionalism
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
