**Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist – Obstetrics & Gynaecology**

About the Role
Sante Recruitment is proud to partner with North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) in the search for a talented Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join their dedicated team.
Based at Mount Isa Hospital, you will provide evidence-based, high-quality care across the full range of obstetric and gynaecological services. Working as part of a motivated team, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a regional community while benefiting from excellent remuneration and allowances.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological services within your scope of practice.
* Undertake patient reviews, clinical examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
* Support gynaecology outpatient clinics and procedural services.
* Participate in health promotion and community-based care initiatives.
* Supervise, mentor and support junior doctors and trainees.
What You’ll Bring
* MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with AHPRA.
* **Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist**: Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
* **Senior Medical Officer / Rural Generalist – Obstetrics**: FACRRM or FRACGP + FARGP with **Advanced DRANZCOG**.
* Strong commitment to patient-centred care in a regional setting.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.

* **Competitive remuneration** up to $671,316 p.a. (pro rata, L18–L27).
* Attraction & Retention Allowance of 40–50% of base salary.
* Regional & Rural Allowance of 15% of base salary.

* 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading.
