Position: 1x Steel Fixer (Chippy)
Location: Perth WA Salter Point Construction Project
Type: Casual / Temporary 10hr x 5 days/week 45 month project (possible permanent for right candidate)
Start: Immediate 05/11/2025
About the Role:
Were urgently seeking a skilled Steel Fixer to join a busy civil construction site at Salter Point. Youll read plans cut and bend steel and secure it to reinforce concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:

Column stairs and suspended slab work
-
Reading plans and reinforcing concrete with steel
-
Work independently as required
Requirements:
-
Civil construction experience (mining considered)

Certificate in Steel Fixing
-
White Card
-
Own tools (battery drill & hand tools) boots & long pants
-
Fit & healthy
-
Basic English to follow instructions
Compensation & Benefits:
-
$45/hr (inc allowances & OT) weekly $2738.40
-
Meal allowance after 1.5hrs OT: $19/day

Daily travel allowance: $21.94
-
Weekly industry allowance: $64.10
-
Weekly tool allowance: $39.60
