About the role
As an Alcohol and Other Drug Program Facilitator, you’ll deliver evidence-based treatment and coordinate specialised programs supporting forensic and voluntary clients. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll facilitate group sessions and individual interventions that empower clients to address substance use and improve the health and wellbeing. .
You’ll play a key role in coordinating program activities, supporting client participation, and working with clinical and justice partners to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality support throughout their treatment.
What you will bring to the team
Bring experience delivering AOD counselling, interventions and group programs, with the confidence to support clients with complex needs.
Use strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and navigate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and with partner organisations, valuing teamwork and shared client outcomes.
Stay organised and proactive, prioritising tasks, managing competing demands, and using initiative to solve problems.
Communicate clearly in writing and confidently use digital systems to maintain accurate records, reports and program data.
