Commercial Cleaners

We are seeking two dedicated Commercial Cleaners to join our team in Surry Hills, New South Wales from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday commencing Monday, 20 July 2026 .

This permanent, full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of this reputable site, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail, contributing to the overall upkeep and presentation of our housing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
• Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained, including common areas, restrooms, and office spaces
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and stored properly
• Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleaning or post-event cleaning

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Smart Phone required
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
