Senior Leadership Position – Commencing Semester 2 2026 by negotiation

Applications are invited for an experienced, strategic and values‑driven educator to join All Hallows’ School as Director of ICT and Information Services.

This senior teaching leadership role works in close collaboration with the Principal and School Leadership Team to provide vision, direction and leadership in the way technology and information services enhance teaching and learning, support student and staff experience, and enable effective and contemporary school operations and communication.

The Director of ICT and Information Services plays a critical role in shaping the school’s strategic use of technology and information systems, ensuring robust, secure and future‑focused digital environments that support educational excellence, operational effectiveness and strong data governance.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a leading educator who combines strategic insight with collaborative leadership, and who has experience and expertise in leveraging technology to support learning, innovation and community connection within a Catholic school context.

Key Areas of Leadership

Key leadership responsibilities include

strategic planning for ICT and information services

oversight of ICT infrastructure and enterprise systems

change management, including detailed project planning, for ICT and information systems

cyber security and data governance

leadership of the ICT Services and Library and Information Services teams

advising the Board, Principal and Leadership Team on emerging technologies and trends.

The role also contributes to broader strategic planning, change management and decision making within the leadership structure of the school.

All senior leaders at All Hallows’ School are required to support the mission and spiritual life of the school and to lead in a manner that reflects the school’s Mercy values and traditions.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader with experience in the leadership of technology and information services within a complex school environment and will be an experienced teacher. A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education is essential.

experience in ICT leadership and digital systems management

the ability to lead organisational change

excellent interpersonal and communication skills

the capacity to lead and develop individuals and teams.

This position is a senior teaching leadership appointment, combining strategic leadership responsibilities with a teaching role appropriate to the scope of the position. The appointment is for an initial period of five years, with eligibility for a further five‑year appointment subject to satisfactory performance, and is underpinned by a permanent, ongoing teaching position.
