Energy Trading Optimisation Analyst
Location: Sydney (flexible to candidates across east coast)
Join a fast-growing team driving Australias clean energy transition. They develop advanced software solutions for large-scale batteries and hybrid renewable systems optimising operations and market performance across the National Electricity Market (NEM).
What Youll Do:
- Support and enhance battery trading software.
- Integrate trading strategies and automate market orders.
- Monitor asset performance and market signals.
- Develop features using Java Python and modern frameworks.
What You Bring:
- Experience as a trader or trading analyst in the NEM.
- Degree in Engineering Computer Science or similar.
- Strong coding skills (Python) in event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with low-latency architectures and real-time control.
