Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning, and Compliance
- Developing, implementing, and rigorously monitoring engineering strategies, policies, and plans to ensure alignment with the company’s operational objectives, production targets, and quality benchmarks.
- Interpreting complex plans, technical drawings, and specifications, providing authoritative advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction, production, and facility optimisation requirements.
- Ensuring strict conformity with all specifications, plans, and relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards, fostering a workplace culture where safety and compliance are paramount.
Project, Budget, and Maintenance Management
- Establishing detailed project schedules and budgets, meticulously managing resources to optimise efficiency, minimise downtime, and meet critical operational timelines, including time-sensitive delivery schedules.
- Overseeing all maintenance requirements for equipment and facilities to maximise reliability, extend asset lifespan, and ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency.
- Ensuring that all engineering activities adhere to rigorous standards of quality, cost control, safety, timeliness, and performance.
Collaboration, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement
- Liaising closely with operations, logistics, and production managers to address engineering aspects of new construction, facility upgrades, and process improvements that support the company’s growth and service commitments.
- Actively contributing to research and development projects, applying engineering expertise to drive innovation, enhance product quality, and improve operational processes.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- A related qualification.
- A minimum of two years of full-time experience in a related engineering management or senior engineering position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, budgets, and maintenance programs within a fast-paced operational environment.

Your proven track record includes leading teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring rigorous compliance with safety and quality standards. Experience within the food production, logistics, or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded.
