Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer based in Brisbane , this 12-month maternity leave cover role will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Information Officer, supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Delivering high-level confidential support to the Chief Information Officer, ensuring priorities, objectives and deliverables are effectively managed
- Managing complex calendars, executive meeting s , travel arrangements, correspondence and communications
- Acting as a trusted liaison between the CIO, Executive Committee members, Board stakeholders , Senior Leaders and external partners
- Leverag ing ChatGPT and AI-assisted workflows to streamline administrative operations, enhance communication quality, accelerate research and document preparation, and improve productivity across executive support and IT-related functions
- Supporting the effective flow of information, communication and decision-making across the division & Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working to increase efficiency across the division
- Coordinating end-to-end Board and Committee process , ensuring papers prepared with in timeframes , submissions m e et strict deadlines, actions tracked & completed within complex and evolving workflows
- Coordinating divisional events, leadership meetings, offsites including presentations, documentation and team communications
- Oversight of desktop support/ level 1 support requests for Executives and Executive Assistant cohort to ensure seamless support
- Building strong working relationships across the organisation while maintaining absolute confidentiality and professionalism
Do things differently with us
This is far more than a traditional Executive Assistant role. You’ll operate as a strategic partner to the CIO, balancing high-level executive support with hands-on coordination and operational administration that keeps a fast-paced technology division running effectively.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the business, helping to manage priorities, improve workflows and create structure in a dynamic environment. Success in this role requires someone who is proactive, highly organised, resilient and confident working at executive level, while also willing to take ownership of the day-to-day administration that enables leaders and teams to perform at their best.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience supporting senior executives within a complex corporate environment
- Advanced skills across Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and productivity tools
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executives
- Experience coordinating executive meetings, travel, communications and divisional administration
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to improve processes and challenge inefficient ways of working
- High attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Sound judgement, integrity and an exceptional approach to confidentiality
- A collaborative and supportive approach with a willingness to assist across executive and administrative functions as required
