Facilities Support (Mail & Distribution) – Clerk Grade 1/2

  • Salary Range $75,728.00 – $82,329.00 pa (plus superannuation and leave loading).
  • Ongoing Full-time Position.
  • Located in Haymarket – 5 minute walk from Central Station.

About Us

Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.

About The Role

The Facilities Support Officer supports the wider facilities team in the delivery of facilities, fleet, finance, projects and mailroom operational and administrative services to the internal customers.

Full time office attendance in the Sydney is required for this role.

About You

You are organised, reliable and confident in providing practical facilities and administrative support. You handle service requests, update records, and communicate well with staff, contractors and property managers. You are comfortable raising purchase orders, processing invoices, coordinating repairs, and helping with mailroom and fleet tasks when needed.

You take ownership of your work, stay focused in a busy environment, and make sure tasks are completed accurately and on time. You work well with different personalities, and you bring a positive and patient approach to any changes or improvements. Overall, you are a team player who is ready to help wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly.

You Must

The essential requirements for this role

  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
  • hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
  • hold a driver’s license and ability to drive in the CBD & Metropolitan Sydney area
