We’re currently looking for a reliable Fitter – Level 1 to join our client’s team in Pakenham, VIC .
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with basic fitting and mechanical experience who is comfortable working with tools and assisting with general workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with fitting, assembly and basic mechanical work
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Assist with maintenance and repairs
- Follow drawings, instructions and procedures
- Support experienced fitters and workshop staff
- Keep the work area clean and organised
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
About You:
- Previous fitting, mechanical or workshop experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team
- Relevant trade qualification or experience is an advantage
