Job Opportunity: Head of Department (Math, Science, English) – American Curriculum School

About the school 
My client is a well-established and prestigious American curriculum school in  Saudi Arabia, dedicated to providing high-quality education.

I am currently seeking well-experienced and dynamic individuals to join a vibrant team as Head of  Department( (K-8) for ;

• Math
• Science
• and English (K-8).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Teaching certification/license
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in an international curriculum – American curriculum school (preferred)
• Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the American curriculum
• Ability to mentor and support teachers in the department
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of the Math, Science, or English curriculum
• Provide leadership and support to teachers in the department
• Conduct regular department meetings and professional development sessions
• Ensure alignment of curriculum with standards and benchmarks
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-curricular learning
• Engage with parents and guardians to support student learning and development
