- Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring all employee records are accurate while producing regular reports for compliance and business planning
- Identify and implement enhancements for HR systems and reporting workflows to drive operational efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR enquiries, providing expert guidance on College policies and escalating complex HR queries
- Manage key procedures including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, visa management and workers’ compensation
- Support broader programs such as workforce planning, performance reviews, engagement activities and collaborative team projects
- Degree in Human Resources (or a related field) or equivalent practical experience in an HR advisory role
- Proven experience managing HR processes, policies and compliance, including familiarity with the Fair Work Act and WHS requirements
- Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to translate complex HR information for non-specialists and prepare clear reports
- Close attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
- Ability to engage respectfully and effectively with a diverse range of people and cultural groups

About the role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work as a member of the HR team providing end-to-end support across the full employee life cycle. This includes maintaining accurate workforce data, providing critical reporting to management, and building effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support a positive workplace culture.
We are an agile team supporting our Sydney and Armidale campuses, partnering with both teaching and non-teaching staff. In this role, you will have the visibility and voice to drive genuine change and see your initiatives come to life across the College.
This is a permanent, part-time role working Monday to Friday. We are open to negotiating the daily hours to be worked with the preferred candidate.
