We’re on the lookout for a compassionate, dedicated, and driven human resources practitioner to join our team.
What you’ll do
- Deliver clear, accurate, timely and responsive HR advice across a broad range of people-related matters.
- Provide expert support and advice to managers around workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Investigate and manage staff grievances.
- Oversee and coordinate on-boarding, probation and off-boarding processes.
- Deliver induction training.
- Develop and issue employment contracts, contract variations, and similar documents and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) as required.
- Assist in the development and review of human resources policies and procedures.
About you
- Experience in end-to-end grievance resolution, performance management and other employment relations matters.
- Proficient understanding of the Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements and modern awards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with people at all levels in the organisation and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the use of information technology systems and software and proven ability to learn new systems with ease.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-organise and exhibit initiative to manage workload.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
