Tripling in size over the past several years and continuing to expand rapidly across Australia, this incredible growth has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to oversee SA and WA operations, based at their Edinburgh North office.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources who is based in Victoria, this role is an operational hands-on HR Generalist delivering end-to-end Human Resources best practice. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and is accountable for the day-to-day delivery of core HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
The HR Advisor acts as the primary HR contact for site managers and employees, ensuring timely and effective resolution of workplace matters while fostering a positive workplace culture. The role plays a key part in supporting operational teams to build workforce capability, manage compliance, and apply HR policies consistently.
Working as part of the National Human Resources team, the HR Advisor also contributes to broader HR initiatives, ensuring all local HR practices align with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and company policies.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in an HR Advisory, Business Partner, or similar role, preferably within a heavily related industry, possessing practical knowledge of HR/IR operations, legislation, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and Awards.
Key skills and knowledge required include deep expertise in employee relations, encompassing mediation, conflict resolution, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture. A robust understanding of legal compliance, including labour laws, regulations, and HR policies, are essential.
You will be an analytical thinker, adept at data-driven decision-making and HR metrics analysis, with strong problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve complex HR issues and challenges.
Exceptional organisational skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
Please note that due to this role being responsible for WA, travel to WA is required approximately once per month for 3 days. This permanent role is open to candidates seeking permanent full-time and .8.
