PYP Teachers needed in the United Arab Emirates | International Baccalaureate | Teach Abroad

I am seeking qualified and experienced PYP Teacher to join my client.  My client has campuses based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain. it is a well established group of schools that is one of the leading private national schools in the United Arab Emirates.

the campus is have world class facilities including Olympic size swimming pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, basketball courts, ICT suites, science labs, library, theatre an auditorium.  the campuses also have modern technology including projectors and interactive whiteboards.  teachers are expected to be tech savvy in order to use Ms teams, zoom

I am seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian that has worked with the IB curriculum before and understands the needs for the PYP, MYP and the DP. My client is part off an established group of schools located across the UAE.

Requirements to apply

1. Bachelor’s degree in Primary/Elementary Education
2. M.Ed. in Primary/Elementary is beneficial 
3. At least two years of full-time experience as elementary teacher
4. Trained from a recognised university
5. Have a high level of written and spoken English
6. Tech savvy to use MS teams, Zoom, MS Office suite and Google Apps
7. MUST have a HIGH COMMAND of written and spoken English or IELTS level 7 to be considered

As a primary teacher you will be required to:

1. Create lesson plans that are engaging and fun to teach
2. Create the Lesson plan resoureces to ensure students are equipped during the lesson
3. Differentiate your lessons to meet the needs of your students
4. Carry out formative assessment on a regular basis to ensure students are meeting the standards that are required
5. Promote an inquiry based classroom
6. Decorate your classroom to promote teaching and learning
7. Create a classroom environment that promotes students to learn independently and also to engage with peers and teachers
8. Have excellent classroom management
9. Attend parent teacher conferences
10. Attend staff briefing
11. Plan collaboratively with other pyewipe teachers
12. Attend department to meetings
13. Attend after school IB PYP CPD training sessions
14. Be able to work independently as well as with the team

Salary Package

Salary range, dependent upon years of experience and qualification: 

1. AED 10,000 AED to 15,6750 AED per month

Additional:

**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 10,000 up to 15,675 
AED (UAE Dirham)per month
based on experience and qualification,

Flight(s) provided annual flights for the teacher only

Utility Bills:

500AED per month

Baggage Allowance:

up to 500 USD on actual reciept
