Your new role
As the Manager, Information and Records, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of enterprise-wide information management services. You will be responsible for driving information governance initiatives, developing information management strategies and policies, and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
You will lead and manage services relating to records management, digital information, geospatial and cartographic information, privacy, information release, and Freedom of Information obligations. The role will also partner closely with senior stakeholders to support digital strategy initiatives, information lifecycle management, service improvement, budget oversight, procurement activities, and the delivery of cost-effective information services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in information management within a complex and geographically dispersed environment.
- Strong leadership capability with experience leading diverse teams and driving organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of information governance, records management, legislative compliance, and contemporary information management practices.
- Proven experience developing and implementing information management strategies, frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Strong understanding of information quality, integrity, accessibility, and lifecycle management principles.
- Experience managing budgets, financial planning, procurement activities, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
- Public sector experience will be highly regarded.
