Maintenance Officer/Handyperson

Immediate Start – Maintenance Officer/Handyperson – $38-$40 per hour + Super – Casual

Your new company

You will be working at a healthcare site based in the inner-west of Sydney, and joining their facilities' management team as a Maintenance Officer/Handyperson. As of right now, this is an ongoing casual position and could potentially go on for a period of up to 6 months or, if you are a permanent resident or citizen, it could lead to a permanent position.

Your new role

In your role as a Maintenance Officer/Handyperson, you will be reporting to the Head of Facilities for the site and your general responsibilities will be as follows :

• Painting/Patching
• Basic carpentry
• Building furniture
• Basic plumbing such as changing washers.
• Basic electrical work such as changing light bulbs/globes.
• Maintain accurate records and action work orders through an internal system.
• Coordinate contractors on site.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous maintenance experience or transferable trade experience
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Strong communication skills and being able to deal with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic computer sills
• Ability to pass a police check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)

What you'll get in return

You will get a great opportunity to work as a Maintenance Officer/Handyperson at a large static site earning between $38-40 per hour + super (skills dependant). You will be working 38 hours per week with consistent hours, which will be from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
