Your new role

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and upkeep of the school's facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role with a 50/50 split between on-the-tools work and office-based responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities across the campus
• Carrying out hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep
• Managing contractors and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Planning and scheduling maintenance works and projects
• Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Supporting school operations by assisting with event setups, pack-downs, and logistics
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with WHS regulations

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a maintenance/facilities supervisory role
• Trade qualification or strong hands-on maintenance background
• Ability to balance practical work with administrative responsibilities
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
• Experience working in a school or similar environment (desirable)
• Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
