POSITION DESCRIPTION

Full-Time Metal Welder and Fabricator
The Offer

• Full-time hours Monday to Friday(38hours)
• Salary-$77000 to 87000 per year (plus Superannuation)

To Be Successful

• 2-3 years of experience
• Experienced with the fabrication and welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Cert 4 or higher in related field or Min 3years of exp in related field.

Main Duties

• Interpret technical drawings to understand the work/job.
• Perform welding duties using TIG and MIG welders.
• Fabricate metal components according to layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or

verbal instructions.

• Set up and lay out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts.
• Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
• Comply with WH&S regulations and procedures and company procedures.
• Finishing the product by cleaning, grinding, filling, and polishing.
