We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant / School Bus Driver to join our Bendigo depot.

About the Role
Based in Bendigo, this dual role combines operational support with school bus driving responsibilities. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and reliable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor bus services to ensure punctuality and efficiency
• Communicate with drivers, schools, customers, and the public
• Manage two-way radio and operations phone
• Allocate drivers and vehicles for scheduled services
• Liaise with the workshop regarding vehicle availability
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks
• Provide weekend on-call support every 4 weeks
• Drive a school bus morning and afternoon during school terms
Hours:
• Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
• On-call every 4th week (after hours and weekends)
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and organized individual with experience in operations or scheduling support. You’ll be personable, proactive, and confident in managing multiple priorities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
• Current MR/HR license, Driver Accreditation, and Working with Children Check
