- This role is primarily working in the Home-Based Palliative Care Service alongside specialist nurses, a nurse practitioner and a palliative care specialist.
- On-call periods involve remote telephone support and remote charting for patients in the 20-bed in patient palliative care unit only. Support is available from a specialist during all on call periods.

A Metropolitan ACT hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Palliative Care Medicine from 02/06/2026 to 26/07/2026.
Dates:
1. Tuesday 02/6/26 -Sunday 14/6/26 (includes on-call block Monday 8/6/26 – Sunday 14/06/26 (on call period ends 0800 Monday 15/6/26)
2. Monday 20/7/26 – Sunday 26/7/26 (includes on block ending 0800 Monday 27/7/26)
Requirement: DHR training completed in advance
Rate $160 Standard Hourly
Rate On call: Additional $160 per day during doing on-call days (Off site)
