Payroll Officer for a hospitality company in the CBD

One of the most trusted companies within the hospitality industry, this organisation aims to foster a culture where their staff feels valued and supported. They are seeking a permanent payroll officer to join their team.
Your new role
In this role, you will:
- Process end-to-end payroll including reviewing and analysing multiple Awards and EA’s
- Ensure compliance with Fairwork legislation
- Write up reports and journals for all aspects of payroll for the finance team
- Annual salary reconciliations
- Updating systems and relevant employee data
- Regular audit processes and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience with full function payroll
- Strong experience with hospitality Award – highly desired
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and relevant Awards
- Ability to interpret agreements and Awards to ensure compliance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Strong Excel skills – macros highly regarded
