We are URGENTLY seeking for a Primary English teacher on behalf of our client this August. This is an established non-profit school offers a unique bilingual programme to its students from Grade 1 to 12. 

To apply, you will need to meet the following requirements: 

– Bachelor degree and above major in English/Education

– Teaching qualification

– Minimum of 3 years teaching experience

– International teaching experience is beneficial 

– Native English speaker 

– Flexible to adapt to a new culture 

The school is located approximately 15 mins away from downtown Shanghai and close to shops, public transports access and restaurants. The responsibilities include:

– Plan, teach and evaluate classes as designated by subject coordinators 

– Set up reasonable proximal goals for students based on curriculum requirements

– Differentiate learning to cater to different needs

– Support those who need to remediate help

– Make sure students are engaged, challenged from their learning time

– Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the curriculum

– Ensure the teaching and learning is aligned with the school's current scope and sequence documents 

– Established a classroom environment where students feel safe and comfortable to take risks

– To work cooperatively and supportively with other staff

– Fulfil the administrative functions of the class

– Organise related activities for students to ensure the quality of their learning

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement:
M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Additional:

**International teaching experience is beneficial
**Bilingual teacher preferred but not essential
**Able to support the school residential programme
**Able to supervise and/or lead co-curricular activity during activity time
**Able to lead pastoral programme

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 22,000 up to 31,000 
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)per month
based on experience and qualification,
10-25 % Tax is applied
