SeekTeachers is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Primary teacher/s to join our client in Shanghai, China. The position is to start in the next academic year and teach primary based on the National Curriculum.  

Our client is a leading international school based in Shanghai, China, adopting the UK National curriculum and IBDP programme and caters for children from aged 3 to 18. The school is very well known in the city and has an excellent academic reputation. 

The school has over 1,000 students at present with over 30 different nationalities. Teachers are mainly expat coming from UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. 

To apply, you must have: 

**Fully qualified teacher with QTS

**Outstanding classroom practitioner, who applies the principles of assessment for learning to their daily practice

**3-5 years of experience in Primary 

**Has taught in the UK curriculum

**Familiar with strategies for supporting children with English as an additional language in a mainstream classroom

**Expertise in mastery maths, drama, sports, MUN and ENC is preferred 

The international school is fully accredited by the CIS, WASC and is also an IB school. The school was inspected by Independent School Inspectorate (ISI) and received a very high standard report.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement:
M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 20,000 up to 32,000 
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)per month
based on experience and qualification,
10-25 % Tax is applied
