RECEPTIONIST

Shifts: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $29.60 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging benefits

Location: Millmerran, QLD

 

McLean Care is seeking a professional and client-focused Receptionist to join our team at Yallambee , our 60-bed residential aged care home in Millmerran, Queensland .

 

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm

As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the home.

 

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reception, switchboard and front-of-house duties
  • General administration and clerical support
  • Supporting staff with office processes and procedures
  • Filing and document management
  • Petty cash receipting and reconciliation
  • Collecting and distributing mail
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Maintaining accurate records and office systems

 

About you

You will be organised, professional and confident communicating with a wide range of people. You will have strong attention to detail, good computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

 

Essential criteria

  • Previous front-of-house or customer service experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organisational ability
  • High attention to detail
