School Counsellor

This is an incredible opportunity to step into a well-established P-12 school where student wellbeing is genuinely prioritised, systems are already in place, and you’ll have the autonomy to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Covering a parental leave contract, you’ll take ownership of a whole-school counselling function, supporting predominantly adolescent students while working closely with school leaders, teachers and families.

This is a Full Time fixed-term contract position, covering Term 3 to Term 1, 2027.

Requirements:

• Tertiary degree in Counselling, Social Work or similar
• Previous experience in a school setting highly regarded, although confident clinicians with demonstrated experience in supporting adolescents are encouraged to apply!
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with students, families and staff
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly around documentation and reporting requirements
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
