Senior Manager/Director – Valuations (Sydney)

Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary : Circa 180 – 220k including super (depending on experience)

We're looking for a Senior Manager/Director – Valuations to join a market-leading Sydney Valuations team, building client relationships with a diverse portfolio from innovative start-ups to global infrastructure asset managers and major corporates.

Responsibilities

• Guide and prepare clear, well-structured valuation reports and advice across a variety of purposes from Independent Expert's Reports and Purchase Price Allocations to business, equity, and intangible asset valuations.
• Conduct valuation assessments using a full range of methodologies, such as financial modelling.
• Oversee research, providing clients with insights into comparable companies, transactions, industry trends, and market conditions.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and drive expansion of valuations practice.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or professional qualification in accounting or finance
• CA/CFA/MAppFin qualified or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting valuations, ideally gained in a professional services setting
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to coach and guide junior team members.
• A proactive, independent working style with a strong sense of ownership and leadership.
