Senior Registrar/Internal Medicine/General Medicine

• The General Medical ward comprises 30 beds, including a Close Observation unit for patients requiring a higher level of care
• Medical services are provided by ward based doctors and VMO's including local General Practitioners who have admitting rights
• Patients with private health insurance are able to select any available Doctor with admmitting rights to look after them. A General Physician and a Gerontologist provide services in the general ward as well, along with a range of allied health services
