Role: Estimator Supervisor / Senior Estimator Supervisor
Location: Port Macquarie, NSW | Full-time, permanent
Overview:
This role involves scoping, estimating, and supervising residential property repairs. Reporting to the State Construction Manager, you’ll manage subcontractors, control costs, ensure high-quality workmanship, and deliver an excellent customer experience. It suits an experienced, multi-skilled tradesperson with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Duties:
- Prepare accurate scopes of work and cost estimates
- Supervise and coordinate repair works and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, WHS, and quality standards
- Manage client and internal communication
- Use mobile technology for job management and reporting
- Support training, safety practices, and a multi-trade approach
Skills & Experience Required:
- Relevant trade qualification (carpentry/plastering/painting preferred)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience supervising property repairs
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- Confident using mobile devices and job management systems
- Physically capable of site-based work
- Insurance repair experience desirable
