Technical Officer – Instrument – Fitter Machinist/Toolmaker

This is a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

The Technical Officer – Instrument , as a member of a team, is responsible to provide an efficient, effective and timely service in relation to the implementation, repair, maintenance, quality assurance and construction of mechanical equipment (medical and scientific) instrumentation and systems.

The successful applicant joins a team in the Technical Services Division of Health Technology Management Unit (HTMU) supporting sites across the East Metropolitan and South Metropolitan Health Services.

The position will be based at Royal Perth Hospital, however, will also be required to attend and work onsite at other sites managed by HTMU across the East Metropolitan and South Metropolitan Health Services.
