Technical Project Manager (Critical Facilities)

Sydney CBD HQ Onsite Role Close to Public Transport Local Travel to Client Sites

Lead technical projects in mission-critical environments with a global industry leader.

About the Role

BGIS is seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong electrical expertise to deliver projects across data centres hospitals laboratories and other live operational environments .

The role is based on client sites across the Sydney metropolitan area. Youll be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecyclefrom planning and design coordination through to construction commissioning and handoverwhile ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects within live critical environments.
  • Oversee project planning scheduling budgeting and reporting.
  • Coordinate contractors consultants and stakeholders to ensure safe and timely delivery.
  • Manage risks isolations and change processes in line with operational requirements.
  • Drive quality safety and efficiency throughout project execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering projects in critical facilities (e.g. data centres hospitals labs).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (HV/LV UPS generators switchgear etc.).
  • Relevant electrical qualifications .
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in live operational environments.
  • Must be based onsite and available to travel to client locations to oversee delivery.
