Position: Transport Company Manager
Salary: $92,000 – $120,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time

Khehra Family Transport is a growing logistics company dedicated to providing top-notch transport solutions. We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Transport Company Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising the purchase, allocation, and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel to ensure operational readiness.
  • Liaising with clients to assess transportation requirements, provide advice on vehicle type, purchase or hire rates, explain obligations, and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Receiving orders and bookings, then planning, scheduling, and implementing transportation timetables to meet customer and operational needs.
  • Ensuring goods are stored and transported under conditions that preserve their quality and integrity throughout the journey.
  • Coordinating and arranging the collection, dispatch, and delivery of vehicles and goods to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Maintaining accurate business records, operational statements, and performance reports for management oversight and regulatory compliance.
  • Overseeing and coordinating activities related to the arrival, departure, loading, and unloading of trains and other transport operations.
  • Ensuring all transport activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business Management(preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in transport, logistics, or fleet management.

Other Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and scheduling skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent client service and problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of OHS regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong reporting, record-keeping, and communication skills.
