About the Role
- This role is based across all MGC active project sites in and around Perth, WA
- Full Time, Permanent
- $120,000-$160,000pa + Super
- Multi-Combination/Road Train
- Oversized loads with pilot
- Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
- Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
- Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
- Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
- Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
- Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries
Requirements
- Must possess MC Licence for 5+ years with proven experience
- Proven experience in transporting plant equipment or similar roles in the civil and construction industry.
- Plant & Workshop experience – desired
- Strong understanding of load securing techniques and road safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.
