Veterinarian – Ashgrove, Brisbane, QLD

Location: Ashgrove, Brisbane
Hours: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: Competitive + Super + CPD Allowance

We’re representing a well-established, multi-vet small animal clinic in Ashgrove that provides a supportive environment for vets at all stages of their career. You’ll be joining a highly experienced team, including vets with 10, 15, and 20+ years of clinical experience , managing both general practice cases and more complex medical and surgical cases.

This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian with 2+ years’ experience looking to grow their skills through hands-on mentorship while contributing to a busy, collaborative practice.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with senior vets and a skilled nursing team, providing care for a diverse range of patients. Mentorship is a strong focus, so you’ll have guidance on complex cases and opportunities to learn advanced techniques while maintaining autonomy in your clinical work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of general practice and more complex medical and surgical cases

• Collaborating with senior vets to develop your skills and clinical confidence

• Supporting and mentoring junior staff where appropriate

• Delivering excellent client communication and patient care

• Contributing to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture

About You

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate vet who is keen to grow in a supportive environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• A Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and current registration

• 2+ years’ experience in small animal practice (more experienced vets are also encouraged to apply)

• Strong clinical skills across medicine and surgery

• A collaborative, team-focused approach and excellent communication skills

• A desire to learn from experienced colleagues and develop professionally
