Seeking Desktop Support Officer For Our Key Government Client

In this role you will collaborate with a team of ICT technical specialists to image, deploy, and maintain desktop, meeting room, and mobile devices within a large and complex network environment hosted and deployed in predominately Microsoft Windows and M365 environments.

Key Responsabilities

  • Assist with the deployment and support of ICT hardware and software throughout Queensland, which may involve travel and occasional after-hours work.
  • Engage, collaborate, and offer expert guidance to staff at all levels on the operation of the Information Systems infrastructure and facilities.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence in customer service by promoting adherence to quality system documentation and continuously seeking improvements in work processes.
  • Foster effective teamwork within the Technology Services Group by understanding the roles and responsibilities of team members and collaborating to support the delivery of services to the Department.

Required Skills:

  • Proven analytical experience in identifying, investigating, and resolving issues encountered during ICT support activities within a large and complex ICT environment.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and embrace innovative approaches to tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop and mobile hardware and operating systems.
